AIR DUCT CLEANING
Dirty heating ducts can aggravate allergies and asthma, and cause serious health problems.
Mold, mildew, bacteria, dust, dust mites, animal dander and other harmful pollutants build up in your return air, filter, blower, ductwork and heating system month after month, year after year. These air ducts can blow disease-causing spores into your living environment every day.
In one day, technicians from Simply Clean Care With Millers will thoroughly clean your furnace blower system, service or replace your air filters, and
sweep and vacuum both return and heating ducts.
In addition, an E.P.A.- approved oxidizing sanitizer can be fogged through the system to sanitize any organics which may have been left behind.

90% of most home fires are largely due to clogged dryer vents.

Plugged dryer vents can lead to fires and always decrease the efficiency of your dryer. Lowered efficiency means increased energy bills. “The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that in 1998, clothes dryers were associated with 15,600 fires, which resulted in 20 deaths and 370 injuries. Fires can occur when lint builds up in the dryer or in the exhaust duct. Lint can block the flow of air, cause excessive heat build-up, and result
in a fire in some dryers.”
Let Simply Clean Care clean your air vents and dryer vets and help reduce the risk of fire.
To Help Prevent Fires:
Clean the lint screen or filter before or after drying each load of clothes. If clothing is still damp at the end of a typical drying cycle or if drying requires longer times than normal, this may be a sign that the lint screen or the exhaust duct is blocked.
Clean behind the dryer, where lint can build up. Have a qualified service person clean the interior of the dryer chassis periodically. This will minimize the amount of lint accumulation. Keep the area around the dryer clean and free of clutter.
Take special care when drying clothes that have been soiled with volatile chemicals such as gasoline, cooking oils, cleaning agents or finishing agents and stains. If possible, wash the clothing more than once to minimize the amount of volatile chemicals on the clothes. Ideally, such clothes should be hung out to dry. If you do use a dryer, then use the lowest heat setting and a dryer cycle that has a cool-down period at the end of the cycle. To prevent clothes from igniting after drying, do not leave the dried clothes in the dryer or piled in a laundry basket.
There is a trend to locate washers and dryers inside the home. This requires longer duct runs to vent the dryer. These longer duct runs provide a great opportunity for lint to build up, which creates the possibility of subsequent danger. The technicians of Simply Clean Care With Millers use both duct cleaning and the vacuum power of our truck-mounted cleaning units to open up these clogged systems. Blockages will reoccur, however, so you should consider a regular cleaning schedule.
